Wilder

The Wilder is a psionic class in the Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 Edition. It was recently introduced as a base class in the Expanded Psionics Handbook.

The wilder is a psion-like character that can create "power surges" that she can freely use to augument(empower) her psionic powers. Channeling this power is dangerous, however, and the wilder can "overload" and be stunned if they channel too much power.

Wilders are tougher and are proficent with more weapons than the psion, but have a very limited range of powers and do not gain the services of a psicrystal or any bonus metapsionic feats.

The Manead's favored class is the Wilder.
