Westerlo

   

Westerlo is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Oevel, Tongerlo, Westerlo proper and Zoerle-Parwijs. On January 1st, 2004 Westerlo had a total population of 22,502 (11,352 males and 11,150 females). The total area is 55.13 km² which gives a population density of 408.19 inhabitants per km².
