Volvo V70

The Volvo V70 is a full-size station wagon. There have been two generations of the car: 1998-2000 and 2001-present. All wheel drive versions of the V70 have been sold as the XC trim line, and as the separate Cross Country and XC70 models.

1998

The 1998 V70 was a station wagon version of the Volvo S70 sedan.

2001

For 2001, the V70 moved to the new P2 platform along with the smaller S60 and larger S80 sedans. The V70 is more closely-related to the S60, however. The all wheel drive version was sold as the V70 XC for 2001, as the Cross Country model for 2002, and as the XC70 for 2003 and on.
