Scrooge
Scrooge is the surname of Ebenezer Scrooge, a selfish and miserly character in the short story A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
The animated Disney character Scrooge McDuck is also a miserly personality, whose name clearly derives from the Dickens character.
The popularity of the original character is such that "Scrooge" has come to mean miserly, anti-social or selfish in general usage.
There are a number of movies called Scrooge, mostly adaptations of A Christmas Carol.
