Pelycosaur

The pelycosaurs were large primitive reptiles of the Permian or late Paleozoic, having a tall spinal sail as a distinctive characteristic. Pelycosaur fossils have been found in Europe and North America.

One pelycosaur is the famous Dimetrodon.
