North (movie)

North is a 1994 motion picture directed by Rob Reiner, and starring Elijah Wood.

Wood portrays a child who tires of his parents, legally emancipates himself from them, and wanders around the world seeking a new family.

North received generally negative reviews, and performed poorly at the box office, earning about US$7Million for an estimated budget of US$40Million. [1] (http://imdb.com/title/tt0110687/business)

Film critic Roger Ebert seemed especially baffled by North, noting that Wood and especially Reiner had both previusly made much better films. Ebert awarded North a rare zero-stars rating, and the following notorious sentence appeared in his review: "I hated this movie. Hated hated hated hated hated this movie. Hated it." North has been suggested as a candidate for one of the worst films ever.
