Marie Fredriksson
Marie Fredriksson is the songwriter and female lead singer of the Swedish bands Strul, Mamas Barn and Roxette. She was born on May 30:th 1958 in Östra-Ljungby, Sweden.
Together with a friend, singer Per Gessle, she started Roxette in 1984. She also has an extensive solo carreer.
She is married to Mikael Bolyos and has two children.
In 2002 she was diagnosed with a brain tumor, but has since recovered.
