Mafeteng

Mafeteng is the capital city of Mafeteng District in Lesotho. It has a population of approximately 13,000 (1986). The South African border town to Mafeteng is Wepener.

In the early 1990s, one of the sights in Mafeteng was the "Old Mill" which was owned by the Scott family, but taken over by the Osbornes. The whole mill was run off a single engine by an intricate pulley system. The local people used the mill to process corn, wheat etc.
