Los angelization (sometimes spelled "losangelization") is slang for disperse urban development; that is, urban sprawl.

"Los angelization" gets its name from the post-World War Two growth of the City of Los Angeles located in Southern California in the western United States. The city is the county seat of Los Angeles County.
