London Street Management

London Street Management is an arm of Transport for London (TfL), which is responsible for managing the main through routes in London, a total network of 580km of roads. These routes are also known as Red Routes, as they can be identified by their unique (within the United Kingdom) red road markings and signage.

London Street Management is also responsible for managing the London Congestion Charge, a fee that is charged to motorists entering the Central London area.

The remainder of the London street network is the responsibility of the individual London Boroughs.
