Logres

Logres (also spelt Logris or Loegria) is another name for England in Arthurian legend. The word derives from Lloegr, the Welsh for England.

In Charles Williams' poetry, Logres is the spiritual or higher form of Britain.

Susan Cooper idiosyncratically uses Logres as an old name for Cornwall in her children's fantasy Over Sea, Under Stone.
