Lloyd George Coalition Government
The Lloyd George Coalition Government was a British government headed by David Lloyd George which lasted from 1916 until 1922 and initially comprised of members of all three major British political parties - the Liberals, Conservatives and Labour. However each of the three parties was subsequently divided over the continued existance of the coalition, with the official party eventually adopting an anti-coalition stance. When the Conservatives voted to leave the Coalition in October 1922 the government fell.
