Little Italy of the Bronx

Belmont is a unique neighborhood that was the first home to tens of thousands of Italian immigrants and has maintained its unique flavor for almost one hundred years. Once a year, in mid August, we unite to present "Ferragosto di Belmont™". This is a cultural fair that spans 3000 years of Italian Culture and is free to the public. So if its food, a weekly recipe, culture, history, restaurants, research of Italian Immigration, theater, cultural fairs, old time craftsmanship or a great tour destination, you are in the right place.
