Linux Vollwaschmittel (German: Washing powder) is a brand of washing powder made by Rösch. It is popular in German-speaking countries. Some people have criticised the brand for using the word, Linux, which is a name for an operating system kernel. However, since it does not use the trademark as a technology term, it has so far been immune to legal action from Linus Torvalds, the trademark holder of Linux (the kernel).
