Confederatio

   

Confederatio (from latin, Polish: Konfederacja) was a privilege of szlachta in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth to form a military organisation in order to achieve a common political aim.

In the XVIII century this tradition gave raise to the confederated sejm.
