Ishpatina Ridge

   

The Ishpatina Ridge is the highest point in the Canadian province of Ontario. It is 693 metres above sea level and is situated about halfway between Sudbury and Kirkland Lake at the co-ordinates 47°19.000' North, 80°45.051' West. It is located in Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park.

The name "Ishpatina" comes from an Ojibwa language word meaning "high place".
