Hobbit (disambiguation)
The word Hobbit can refer to:
- A Hobbit – a small humanoid being belonging to the fictional Hobbit race invented by J. R. R. Tolkien.
- The Hobbit, Tolkien's novel which first introduced the race as it is currently known.
- The Hobbit computer – a Soviet home computer, based on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum architecture.
- Hobbit is a term being informally used for a newly discovered extinct species of humanoid, the Homo floresiensis.
- Hobbit (Denham) – a term from Michael Denham's obscure list of the 1880s, the "Denham Tracts". The Denham source refers to it as a "class of spirit". A very small minority believes this was a creature from folklore.
