Gilles Trehin (b. 1972) is French autistic savant and creator of the fictitious city of Urville. He lives in Cagnes sur Mer, near Nice, France.

Gilles Trehin was diagnosed with autism at the age of 8 when his family was living in USA. Over the years Trehin developed talents for music, mental calculation and drawing.

In 1984 Trehin begun to draw the plans of his imaginary city Urville (the name is based on the French scientific Antartic base of "Dumont d'Urville". At first he created it out of Lego blocks and airplane models. By 1987, he had expanded his creation by more detailed drawings.

He has drawn both plans and landscapes of Urville but also created culture and history for it. According to him, Urville was created by Phoenicians and had a name Urbis during the Roman occupation. Trehin has formulated the city's fate during the history and events like the French Revolution and both World Wars. Urville is a very large city - 11 820 257 inhabitants - in "insular Provence".
