Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark
HRH Crown Prince Frederik André Henrik Christian of Denmark (born May 26, 1968) is the son of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and Prince Henrik. He is the heir apparent to the Danish throne.
Frederik had long been the subject of tabloid speculation because of his many girlfriends, but on October 8, 2003 the Danish authorities officially announced Crown Prince Frederik's engagement to Mary Elizabeth Donaldson, a lawyer from Hobart in Tasmania, Australia. The wedding took place on May 14, 2004 in Copenhagen at the Copenhagen Cathedral. Donaldson is now styled Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.
