David B. Haight
David Bruce Haight (September 2, 1906 - July 31, 2004) was the oldest Apostle in the history of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to which he was ordained in January 1976.
Previously, he had served as mayor of Palo Alto, California and president of the Church's mission in Scotland before becoming a General Authority in 1970.
He died in the morning of July 31, 2004, after having attended the funeral of his colleague Neal A. Maxwell the previous Tuesday.
