Chi River

The Chi River (Thai แม่น้ำชี)is the second largest river in the Isan region of Thailand after the Mun River, of which it is a tributary.

The river rises in the Phetchabun mountains, then runs east through the central Isan provinces of Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen and Maha Sarakham, before turning south in Roi Et province to meet the Mun in Kanthararom district of Sisaket province. The river carries approximately 9,300 cubic metres of water per annum.
